Job Summary:
Real estate and property tax administration, office lease and facility coordination, board and HQ communication, and general office/administrative support.
Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities and duties:
• Work with tax attorneys to reduce property taxes.
• Analyze and invoice ad valorem taxes for owned properties.
• File annual Timber Exemption Certificates (Humble, TX).
• Prepare weekly/monthly rental income reports for parking lots
• Oversee and audit Downtown Houston parking lots
• Prepare annual budget and reports for real estate activities.
• Provide all necessary support related to real estate matters

• Coordinate office rentals, monthly payments, and lease agreements.
• Serve as contact for building management (parking, maintenance, services and any notifications).

• Handle documents and communication with Taipei Head Office.
• Print Board Meeting Book and send to Taipei.
• Manage courier services, incoming/outgoing mail
• Manage office expense invoices
• Answer company phone lines, take messages, and greet visitors.

• Maintain inventory list for fixed assets and conduct semi-annual inventory checks
• Monitor and service office equipment (copy machines, supplies).
• Manage office/kitchen supplies and upkeep (daily tidying)

Qualification and skills:
• Good computer skill and knowledge in Microsoft Office.
• Listen/Speak/Read/Write Chinese well.

The period of Probation
1. Probation: 3 months
2. Gross Salary: about $ 57,000 / a year
3. Any Leave Request Unpaid

Employment effective day after probation

2. Benefits:
• Medical and Dental group insurance: for full time employees and their dependents. (Payment to cover deductible will be subject to proration)
• Life Insurance: All employees are eligible.
• Contributions to Simple IRA: 3% based on Gross Salary.
• Contributions to Health Saving Account: equals to the deductible amounts of our medical group insurance. If you are not applicable to the HSA, our company reimburses you for the out-of-pocket expenses with a limit. The limit for this year is $3,000 for single and $6,000 for family.
• Annual Bonus: based on performance of the whole year.
• Paid vacations: based on years of service, including the period of probation. 10 days after 1 year. For partial years’ service, the number of paid vacation days accrued will be prorated based on the number of completed months of service. The employee is entitled to carry over any accrued vacation time earned during the preceding 12 months to the next 12-month period. Vacation time carried over must be used during that next 12-month period, or it shall be forfeited.
• 7 personal leave: after 3 -month probation (prorated for the year)
• 12 paid holidays
• Sick leave: based on years of service. 5 days for 0-1 year.
